The Dots

The Dots is an interactive kinetic installation exploring the profound environmental impact of individuals. Seven circular panels coated with polarising film are arranged in a hexagonal grid, driven by servo motors and an ultrasonic distance sensor. As the panels rotate, their transparency dynamically shifts with the viewer's proximity and the relative angle of the polarised face shield worn by the audience, unveiling a thought-provoking visual narrative. Part of the Matters project series, The Dots urges viewers to reflect on their responsibility towards the environment. Featured on Yanko Design.
